FAQ · Things people ask
Questions, answered.
Eight of the most common things prospective clients ask us — pricing, timelines, process, the lot. If yours isn't here, drop us a line and we'll come back inside a working day.
How do you price your projects?
Every project is quoted bespoke against the scope, deliverables and timeline. There is no fixed price list. After a short discovery call we send a written estimate with clear deliverables, turnaround and revision rounds, so you know exactly what you're getting before anything starts. If we're not the right fit for what you're building, we'll say so and where we can, point you toward someone who is.
How long does a project take from start to finish?
A logo project usually runs 3–4 weeks. A full brand identity sits around 6–8 weeks. A marketing website is 8–12 weeks depending on content readiness. Packaging projects vary widely with print sign-off. We agree a date-pinned timeline before kicking off so you know what's landing when.
Do you work with clients outside Nuneaton?
Yes. We're based in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, and work in person across the Midlands (Coventry, Birmingham, Leicester, Solihull, Rugby). We also work remotely with clients across the UK and internationally — past projects have shipped into
14 countries.

What does your design process look like?
Four phases: Discover (we learn the business, the audience and the constraints), Direction (we explore 2–3 design routes), Develop (we refine the chosen direction and produce final assets), Deliver (we hand over files, guidelines and a launch checklist). You see work and give feedback at the end of every phase.
How many revision rounds are included?
Two structured revision rounds per phase are included as standard. In practice that's almost always enough — we focus the rounds on specific decisions, not endless tweaks. Additional rounds are quoted per hour if you need them.
What if we're not happy with the work?
We address it. Every project has a check-in at the end of the Direction phase — if the work isn't landing for you, that's the moment to say so and we adjust together. We've not had to walk away from a project yet, but we'd rather pause and reset than push through something you don't believe in.
Do you offer ongoing brand or website support?
Yes. After launch we offer monthly care plans for websites (updates, performance monitoring, small content changes) and quarterly brand reviews. You can also book ad-hoc design hours by retainer for ongoing campaigns and asset production.
Why work with Saint Nicolas instead of a freelancer or larger agency?
We sit in the middle — a small, principal-led studio. You get the senior eye and direct contact of a freelancer with the breadth, process and accountability of a larger agency. No account managers in between, no juniors doing the work.
