Twenty-five minutes up the A5 from our Nuneaton studio. Brand, web, packaging and print design for Tamworth businesses — town-centre independents, the M42 logistics cluster, and the manufacturing and professional firms that anchor both.
Tamworth often gets lumped in with the wider M42 logistics corridor, but spend a day in the town centre and the picture's more interesting — independent food and drink growing around the Castle Grounds, manufacturing and engineering still anchoring the economy, and a strong cluster of professional firms serving south Staffordshire. Most of our Tamworth work sits across those three.
Tamworth's town centre has been quietly growing an independent scene around the Castle, the Snowdome and the high street — cafés, makers, retailers — and many need help looking like an alternative to the chains they sit next to.
The Tamworth distribution cluster — Centurion Park, Relay Park, the Drayton Manor end — is dense with logistics and distribution firms that need credible web presence, clear print collateral, and identity that reads as professional to multinational clients.
Tamworth's manufacturing heritage and the professional firms supporting it (law, accountancy, surveying) need design that's clear, technical and reliable — work that holds up across long projects and serves staff as much as customers.
Most of the work happens over video — same as it does for our clients in London, Bristol or Milan. But for Tamworth briefs there are four moments where we'll always come to you in person, included in the quote at no mark-up.
A 90-minute discovery session at your office, café, studio or building site — wherever the work actually lives.
In TamworthTwo design directions presented and worked through over Zoom or Meet — usually 60–90 minutes, recorded and shared.
VideoDesigns refined and shared async via Figma and PDFs. Two scheduled review calls; ad-hoc questions handled within the working day.
Async / videoWe attend the press-check for print and packaging work, or run a handover session at your office for digital projects — at no charge for Tamworth-area suppliers.
In TamworthWe're a Tamworth logistics business with multinational clients who'd been judging us by a 2012 website. Nicolas treated us like adults, came to Relay Park three times during the project, and shipped a rebrand and site that pitches at the same level as the international firms we're tendering against. Two new contracts and a 60% uplift in inbound enquiries since launch.
A non-exhaustive list of Tamworth districts and surrounding areas we've shipped projects with clients in. Numbers shown are projects shipped, not active campaigns. If your part of Tamworth isn't listed, that's not a problem — we're 15 miles up the A5 either way.
If yours isn't here, drop us a note at projects@saint-nicolas.co.uk — written response inside one working day.
Yes. Our studio is 15 miles from Tamworth city centre — a 25-minute drive on the A5, or a 25-minute train ride. We'll come to you for the kickoff and any decisive sessions (press-checks, brand reveals, launch reviews) at no additional charge.
Day-to-day work runs over video, which keeps the budget on the design and not the travel. If you'd rather meet at the studio in Nuneaton, that's an open invitation — we've got coffee, a long table, and a wall to print work onto.
All of Tamworth and the surrounding districts. Our recent work has been concentrated in the town centre, Amington, Glascote and Wilnecote — but we've shipped projects with clients in Two Gates, Bolehall, Hopwas, Relay Park, Centurion Park, Dosthill and Mile Oak too.
We also work regularly with clients in Nuneaton, Birmingham, Warwickshire and Coventry — all easy reach from the studio.
Same-day if needed, with reasonable notice. The A5 connects the studio to Tamworth's printers and trade estates in 25 minutes off-peak; the train is faster than driving in rush hour.
We attend press-checks for print and packaging projects as standard, and proof sign-offs at suppliers in Tamworth, the Centurion Park industrial estate and the Relay Park distribution cluster. If your printer's local, we probably already know it.
Independent food and drink around the town centre and Castle Grounds, manufacturing and engineering firms across the wider Tamworth area, the M42 logistics and distribution cluster at Relay Park and Centurion Park, professional services (law, accountancy, surveying) supporting south Staffordshire, and a steady stream of independent retailers and makers across Amington, Glascote and Wilnecote.
We work across nine design disciplines — brand, web, packaging, print, editorial and social — and most projects combine two or three. Browse the full portfolio for examples by discipline.
Same as anywhere — every project is quoted bespoke against scope, complexity and turnaround, with a written estimate before any work starts.
No travel mark-up for Tamworth projects: we're close enough that on-site sessions don't change the brief. We don't publish day rates or package prices because every brief is genuinely different, and a fair quote needs context. Send us a brief or just a paragraph about what you're trying to do and we'll come back within one working day.
A 25-minute drive, a 25-minute train via Birmingham, and a written response inside one working day — no travel mark-up, no sales call.
