Dom's Therapeutic Counselling Flyer Branding Design

The challenge

The mental health sector requires a delicate visual approach that feels profoundly welcoming, safe and entirely free of clinical sterility. The objective was to design a unified series of promotional flyers for Dom’s Therapeutic Counselling, with each leaflet targeting a specific demographic: general clients, men’s mental health and students/creatives/LGBTQ+ communities. The challenge lay in creating a flexible design system that gives each flyer its own distinct, relatable identity while maintaining a cohesive, recognisable overarching brand presence across the entire series.

Our approach

We developed an approachable, human centric design system utilising soft, organic shapes and highly personalised visual hierarchies.

The Visual System We integrated inclusive, friendly photography of diverse individuals, breaking up the layouts with circular photo frames that make the imagery feel personal rather than corporate.

The Colour & Layout We implemented a soft, gender neutral colour blocking strategy using gentle lilacs, calming sky blues and warm yellows to differentiate the target audiences instantly while anchoring every flyer with a shared sage green base tone.

The Typography & Branding A friendly, rounded sans-serif typeface was selected for the primary headers to project warmth and accessibility, paired with prominent placement of professional credentials (like BACP badges) at the base to reinforce safety, trust and legitimacy.

The outcome

The final assets deliver a compassionate and highly effective set of marketing flyers that successfully lower the barrier to seeking mental health support. The modular layout allows for easy scanning of key services, contact numbers and unique QR codes across different communities. The production ready files were delivered with optimised colour balance for physical printing on recycled, tactile matte paper, ensuring the materials feel earthy, soothing and premium to the touch.
