I Re Grow Recycle Regrow Your Food Packaging Design

Packaging Design 2025

This portfolio showcase highlights the packaging design and retail box structure for the I Re Grow "Recycle & Regrow Your Food" Kit. The objective was to design an engaging, eco-conscious retail package that communicates sustainable food regeneration, family friendly gardening, and zero waste kitchen practices to home growers and educators.

Design & Requirements Breakdown

Visual Symbolism – The design features a central house shaped "I RE GROW" logo filled with fresh carrots and greens, set against an earthy wood grain background texture and vibrant lifestyle imagery of kitchen windowsills. This visual composition immediately connects eco-friendly indoor growing with household sustainability and organic food up cycling.

Typographic Architecture – A heavy, bold green sans-serif header commands primary shelf focus with "RECYCLE & REGROW YOUR FOOD," balanced by clean sub-text and explicit icon badges detailing step by step growing instructions, soil pellet inclusion, and 100% vegan, eco-friendly product features for instant readability.

Premium Presentation – The structural corrugated box layout integrates full bleed top and side panel graphics, framing real photographic scenes of sprouting plants alongside an eco-origin emblem. The dual perspective box display allows for maximum shelf presence in retail garden centers, educational displays, and e-commerce hero shots.

Strategic Colour Choice – Fresh garden green and natural wood grain brown form a sustainable, earth focused baseline, accented by vibrant vegetable tones of carrot orange, leafy green, and soft blue sky highlights to evoke natural regrowth, environmental responsibility, and a friendly brand identity.

Target Audience Focus – The approachable, family oriented layout is tailored to engage eco-conscious households looking to reduce food waste, parents and teachers seeking hands on educational activities for children, and urban gardeners growing fresh produce in small indoor spaces.
