Social Media Designs for Montreal Canada Day Parade
This project involved designing a comprehensive, multi-asset digital advertising suite for the Montreal Canada Day Parade, funded by Heritage Canada and the Government of Canada. The primary objective was to create a highly engaging, unified set of promotional graphics to drive massive local attendance, celebrate national heritage, and outline the key family focused features of the event.
Design & Requirements Breakdown
Patriotic National Identity The campaign relies heavily on Canada's iconic red and white colour palette, seamlessly incorporating stylised maple leaf vectors, national flags, and official government branding ("Canada" word mark). This immediately establishes a festive, official, and patriotic tone mid-scroll.
Omnichannel Multi-Asset Layouts: The asset kit features a diverse range of dimensions and promotional focuses tailored for different stages of the event's marketing funnel
The Information Anchor Serves as the primary programmatic ad, detailing core value propositions (Family Friendly, Multicultural, Free Activities) alongside logistical details (Rue Ste. Catherine O., 11:00 AM, July 1st) and a direct "JOIN US" call to action.
Sponsorship Recognition A dedicated graphic specifically designed to express institutional gratitude to Heritage Canada for funding the celebration.
Experiential & Emotional Variations
Utilises vibrant photography grids, ranging from grand parade spectacles to smiling children with painted face to visually emphasise community, patriotism, and unforgettable family memories.
