This portfolio showcase highlights the packaging design and retail card layout for the Bauhn Privacy Guard Laptop Anti-Spy Film. The objective was to design a clean, highly technical, and reassuring retail package that communicates data security, glare protection, and ease of installation to professional and remote workers on the move.

Design & Requirements Breakdown

Visual Symbolism – The design features a realistic product render of a laptop demonstrating the side angle blackout effect of the anti-glare screen protector. Four prominent circular icon badges flank the centre and visually communicating key functional benefits of high level privacy function, easy removal, anti-glare scratch protection and on the go data defense.

Typographic Architecture – A dominant, stacked sans-serif title blocks out "PRIVACY GUARD" along the left margin with striking visual weight, perfectly balanced by crisp, lightweight sub-headers detailing device compatibility (Notebook, Laptop, Monitor) and structured step by step installation diagrams on the back panel for instant readability.

Premium Presentation – The flat envelope style retail pack integrates a clear hanging hook tab for peg display alongside full front and back artwork layouts. The comprehensive reverse side layout leaves dedicated real estate for multi panel technical diagrams, barcodes, and environmental compliance stamps, maximising informative value without causing visual clutter.

Strategic Colour Choice – A high visibility corporate teal cyan is paired with crisp stark white and deep slate greys, establishing a secure, technology focused colour palette that reflects professional information security, premium device care, and a modern digital identity.

Target Audience Focus – The corporate, feature first layout is tailored to engage business travelers, remote office workers looking to shield sensitive data in public spaces, and tech retail shoppers seeking durable, easy to apply screen defense hardware.
