This portfolio showcase highlights the retail packaging design and folding box structure for the Kirfee Heavy Duty Caravan Feet. The objective was to design a highly professional, benefit driven retail package that communicates outdoor product durability, ease of setup, and structural stabilising utility to caravan owners, campers, and holiday travelers.
Design & Requirements Breakdown
Visual Symbolism – The design integrates a circular, window style graphic layout juxtaposing a real world outdoor photograph of a parked caravan against a close up product shot of the stabilising pad on grass. A column of clean, linear feature icons along the lower margin visually reinforces structural stabilising benefits, heavy duty build material, easy storage, and universal compatibility.
Typographic Architecture – A dominant, bold sans-serif display typeface blocks out "Heavy Duty Caravan Feet" across a curving yellow panel with high visual impact, which is perfectly balanced by the clean, corporate "KIRFEE" brand badge on the upper banner and a bright circular "4 Pack" badge indicator for instant feature recognition.
Premium Presentation – The structural folding carton layout utilises a multi dimensional display format, showing how the rich graphics and split tone branding wrap smoothly across all faces. This configuration ensures that key dimensions, the universal fit tagline, and necessary retail barcodes are organised logically without disrupting the primary front of pack shelf presentation.
Strategic Colour Choice – A vibrant palette of high visibility safety yellow and grass green is paired with a deep slate grey backdrop and crisp white typography, creating a high contrast colour scheme that signals rugged outdoor utility, product durability, and a modern, professional automotive accessory identity.
Target Audience Focus – The practical, care first layout is tailored to engage caravan and motor home enthusiasts prioritising vehicle stability on soft ground, outdoor adventurers looking for heavy duty travel hardware, and automotive retail shoppers seeking an easy to install, long lasting hardware solution.
