Hurstwood Hall Guest House Website Design

Website Design 2016

This portfolio showcase highlights the website design and digital presence development for Hurstwood Hall Guest House. The objective was to design a refined, historic, and highly welcoming online platform that maintains a premium hospitality standard while instantly communicating heritage charm, boutique accommodations, and a tranquil countryside retreat.

Design & Requirements Breakdown

Visual Symbolism - The user interface integrates a classic, image forward layout featuring elegant photography of the historic stone property and warm interiors, which visually represents a timeless countryside escape, authentic historical character, and high end hospitality comfort.

Typographic Architecture - A sophisticated blend of traditional, elegant serif typography for headers paired with clean, accessible sans-serif body text mirrors the historic nature of the property while ensuring effortless readability across information pages, room details, and booking instructions.

Premium Presentation - The balanced, wide screen desktop composition allows for seamless multi device scaling, ensuring the layout presents perfectly across high resolution computer monitors, tablets, and smartphones to optimise direct guest bookings and inquiries.

Strategic Colour Choice - A rich, regal plum purple header is paired with crisp white backgrounds and warm interior photography tones to evoke absolute luxury, historic prestige, and a cozy, upscale guest experience.

Target Audience Focus - The elegant, heritage inspired layout is tailored to attract leisure travelers seeking a historic stay, couples looking for a peaceful boutique getaway, and business travelers desiring a premium, character rich alternative to standard corporate hotels.
