The challenge

The arboriculture and tree care industry requires marketing materials that project absolute safety, professional certification and rugged operational capability. The objective was to design a high impact promotional flyer for Leix Trees. The primary challenge lay in organising a dense list of specialised tree surgery services ranging from crown thinning to stump grinding alongside emergency contact details and mandatory industry accreditations. The layout needed to look highly dynamic and instantly catch the eye of local homeowners and commercial property managers, seamlessly blending action shots of tree climbers with highly legible text blocks without feeling chaotic or disorganised.

Our approach

We developed an energetic, nature focused design system that uses custom silhouette masking and high contrast colour zones to structure information.

The Visual Hook & Imagery The layout features a layered collage of high resolution action photography showcasing arborists handling rigging ropes and operating chainsaws safely in tree canopies. We integrated a striking, large scale black silhouette of a tree climber scaling the centre of the flyer, creating a powerful, three dimensional visual depth that instantly defines the company's core trade.

The Typography & List Structure We implemented a clean, highly legible serif font for the primary promotional headline, "Leix Trees provide a comprehensive range of tree surgery services including:". Below this, the service list is organised into two distinct, balanced columns. Each item is bulleted with a custom orange leaf icon, matching the brand's logo and guiding the reader's eye rapidly through the text.

The Trust & Accreditation Elements A dark charcoal banner anchors the base of the design to serve as a high contrast container for critical contact names and phone numbers. To build immediate consumer trust, we prominently featured the recognised corporate logos for City & Guilds and Lantra awards at the lower margin, validating the team's professional certifications.

The outcome

The final asset delivers a powerful, professional marketing tool that perfectly positions Leix Trees as a reliable, fully insured industry authority. The harmonious balance of organic green tones, bright orange accents and action driven graphics ensures the flyer stands out vividly when dropped through letterboxes or displayed on local business boards. The print ready digital files were delivered with optimised colour mapping, ensuring the deep forest greens, crisp white clouds and fine tree branch textures retain their perfect clarity and rich contrast on durable, glossy card stock.
